Use this page to submit a post to The Housist. Please carefully read guidelines and details below. We aim to review all content within 2 business days.
How it works:
- Click add to cart. In the checkout process, you will enter a link to a googledoc on the checkout page
- Submit your payment info in the checkout process
- When you place your order:
- You will not be charged
- Your order will be placed on hold while we review your post
- If your content is reviewed and approved
- Your order status will be updated and you will be charged for your purchase
- We will then publish your post and send you the associated link
- If your content is reviewed and does not meet our standards
- We will email you to see if you would like to improve your content
- if you improve your content so that it is satisfactory, you will then be charged and your content will be published
- If you choose not to improve your content, your order will be rejected and you will not be charged
- We will email you to see if you would like to improve your content
Content Requirements
- Posts should be at least 1,000 words with proper grammar and should require minimal editing (if any)
- Content must be relevant to home, DIY, garden, etc niches
- Content should be focused on informational keywords
- Content should make use of headings and paragraphs should be small and easily digestible (2-3 sentences)
- All links should make sense and be contextually justified and not stand out
- Exact match anchors / highly optimized (ex: “patios”, “kitchen ideas”, “bathroom vanities”, etc) will not be allowed
- Note: we will change any exact match anchors to be compliant with our policies
- Please use brand names, partial match anchors (ex: “ideas to update your kitchen”, “quality vanities to use in your remodel”, etc) or nondescript anchors (ex: “more information”, “here”, “details”)
